Today, when I saw Zemtaya on my Youtube fyp I was so happy! I've been searching them for ages but I completely forgot their name. Their animations videos literally fueled me during my weirdcore era and I even used them as inspo for my ocs. This mv to be specific, the vibe really was what I loved at that time. Oh don't get me on the baby hotline animation memes, Jack Stauber was the best.
Zemtaya wasn't my only idol at the time, I was also very obsessed with @U_sihoo_S2 (유시후) on Youtube! I think I was a fan around the same time when I was obsessed with Zemtaya but Idk...I think it was 2024? So it might actually be a few years part but still! I was so memorized by their bright coloring and unique artstyle along with their beautifully designed ocs. I used to follow up on their lore so much but I pretty much forgot about all of it now...Though, the pink haired boy will always be my favorite!
UPDATE: Now that I'm looking back at their account I actually can't even choose which oc is my favorite wtf they're all amazing. These types of videos from them were my favorite: 1 2 3 4 Oh and here's my fav...5. Even though I say it's my fav I actually can't tell which one I like more LOL.
There's so much videos that I want to show...You might as well just check the channel itself Please it's so worth it! AAaHhh this is the video that made me fell in love with the pink haired character and the artist...1, Yu Sihoo is a genius! The transition really made me want to send 1000 roses to them @~@ The contrast is awesome...
I mostly watch their shorts but I also watched a few of their videos about their oc lore..,,Besides from the pink haired boy I also loved that one girl with blue and red streaks in her hair. And yeah I didn't refer to any of their ocs by their names cause I dn't know their names T_T, 99% of the comments were in Korean. Nonetheless that didn't stop me from enjoying the characters personality and lore.
I'm really glad they're still posting I would've been super duper sad if they suddenly just stopped uploading their amazing art. I really want to write them an appreciation message but I'm too shy (>᎑<๑)/♡.
I'm no longer into weirdcore or neon colors, I don't know what kind of aesthetic I enjoy in art anymore and I don't even have any idols anymore too. TBH I just draw whatever I want now. But! I'm still very grateful for my art idols back in my younger days, I don't think I'll be at the same level in art as I am now without them inspiring me _
Oh shit before I end this off, VIVINOS was also one of my inspirations at that time. When I found out they were the same person who made Alien Stage back when it was getting more well known like maybe 3 years ago, I was so surprised and happy. Err I GENUINELY need to end this entry but I also want to include my favorite animations from VIVINOS so here! 1 2 3. I also loved her Daisuke video, I would watch it over and over again!
I just realized I had another idol during my weirdcore era...Whatever, who cares about making this entry not long? Anyways, I also LOVED @josipu (조시푸) on Yt. My favorite MV from them: 1! Also Err gore warning, this creator really likes making gore. I'm not a person who's good with gore but I still watched them anyways~
I think I'm a very boring person now...I used to have a bunch of idols that I admired and stuff that I actually liked but now I just go with the flow. Of course, I'm very into BL and Webnovels but I wished that I still had idols that I could admire and take inspiration from when it comes to art. My storytelling improved it's just that I've been very lazy in art lately LOL. Better go and find someone to idolize, Bye!
UPDATE: Damn, if 寂滅世界(Yt) posted during my weirdcore era I would've definitely been obsessed with them.
